I’m doing a new thing! For a long time, it has been on my mind and heart to offer readings out in nature. The idea is to go out on an informal Saturday or Sunday, grab a table at a park, hang out for a couple of hours, and offer readings. Well, here I am to make this a reality. Beginning in mid-September 2026, I’ll be in one of the parks by the Arkansas River in Little Rock, AR, offering readings for whoever may want one on Sundays. For now, that park will be Murray Park.  The goal isn’t to make this a big thing. I want it to be a nice, quiet opportunity near the river to consult the cards and allow our cares to be cast into the air and water. It’s Easter! I wrote this in early February 2026. Today seemed as good a day as any to share this while I think about the living things in my life, including the bouquet of flowers that I bought 11 days ago and the Rose of Jericho that I watered today. I shared a post on my other blog recently about what flowers have come to mean for me. That little grocery store bouquet sitting on my coffee table isn’t as full as it was on the day that I originally bought it, but it is still holding up pretty nicely. I think I have a couple more days of life left in them. And that Rose of Jericho? What better day than Easter to water it, even though I don’t necessarily celebrate Easter nowadays. Lately, when I pull oracle cards, I find myself not fully reading into them right away. I’ll take mental notes of my first impressions, but I really have to let them marinate for a few days or even a few weeks. That’s exactly the case for the cards I’m about to share today. First, let me call back a reading I called A Good Cry is a Spiritual Bath because it is relevant. Tears play a huge role in my interpretation of these cards today.
